Jerry and Laura's engagement session was really special for me since I won't be working in a week due to my maternity leave. And because of that I wanted to do something different this time. I have decided to bring a red rose to the session and my husband has decided to take a video of me while I was shooting. We had so much fun!! It also helped that Jerry and Laura are very fun loving people! We totally ignored the wind although I had a hard time to keep my zoom lens steady but I think I managed it well. I guess my pregnant tummy kept me in one place. I really love my work which does not feel like work at all. Seeing people in LOVE and give them photos which they will cherish for a long time is really what makes me happy!
Here are some photos from their session.

Luckily just a week after Easter I had a chance to photograph Jennifer and her adorable family in a beautiful setting at St. Vincent's school. The campus has gorgeous iron gates, stairs, columns etc. Thanks for my photographer friend, Dennis Urbiztondo this location is going to be my favorite one from now on. And what made their session so special was their two darling daughters, Kyle and Lacy. Their love for each other was very obvious. Kyle kept hugging and kissing her little sister and Lacy did the same too. I had the best time ever with them and I hope that they did too!!
Here are some of my favorite photos from their session! Enjoy! And please do not forget to leave any comment!
Ann and Tom's wedding is on the 11th of July of this year. The beach is a very special place for the both of them because Tom proposed to Ann there. Unfortunately I won't be able to photograph their wedding due to my baby's arrival but at least I had a chance to take their engagement photos. They are a very fun loving couple and we really had a great time during the session!

Tom could not stop cuddling with Ann. They were so sweet!
I gave them some bubbles to play around with! It was a surprise for them. Luckily Tom was in great shape.
Engagement ring!
I can not resist taking pictures of shoes at the beach!
Wow!!! It is 2009 already and I just realized that I have not posted anything to my blog since last November! Anyway, here we go!! I had a great time with 10 8 months old children in San Anselmo last Saturday. The weather was awesome and the children were adorable!!! I had so much fun taking pictures of them!!!
Here are my favorites of the day!!!

Carey and Nick's wedding took place at the Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Palo Alto. They had a very lovely wedding ceremony following a small reception at the Old Adobe Building in Mountain View. Carey looked gorgeous in her wedding gown and Nick could not be happier to marry to the love of his life. Their wedding was very colorful and classic. They are enjoying Hawaii at this moment!!! And I have promised Carey that I will put some photos to my blog while she and Nick are on their honeymoon!
Enjoy the photos and please don't forget to leave any comment!
A gorgeous bride to be! Her bouquet's color matched with her hearpiece.
Carey asked me to take a picture of the bottom of her shoe which had their wedding day on it. Such a great idea!
The big moment!
A classical photo of the bride and groom.
It is time to relax with some champagne.
And their gorgeous cake! It looked very appetizing.
I have been so lucky lately! Taking pictures of children is very rewarding and an excellent break from wedding photography. As Christmas is approaching more and more people need their family picture taken and of course they would like to have tons of pictures of their children too. Last Sunday I have photographed Diane and her family in their lovely home in Fairfax. Luckily the sun came out and we were able to start the photo session outside. Their 5 months old son Spencer was very happy and curious during the whole session. He did not care with the camera and I don't think that he even noticed that I was a stranger. I had a great time with them and I hope that these photos are going to tell the story of their portrait session.

One big happy family!
Spencer is having some fun with Daddy!
I think that Spencer's expression is hilarious on this photo! It definitely makes me smile.
He likes hiding behind his feet and hands.
More feet!
He had enough of me, I guess! Or he does not like his hat.
This is my favorite one! They are such a cute family together!
My friend Krista has asked me if I could take pictures of 9 16 months old including her child. I was delighted!! I knew that it is going to be challenging to get some good photos of the children in 2 hours but I think that everyone had fun! The adorable toddlers look pretty relaxed and comfortable with me during the whole time. I also would like to thank to all of the parents who helped me to entertain the children while I was taking pictures of them. I could have not done it without their help. I have many favorites and like always I had a hard time to pick some out!
